Rotary Marches for Children

Members of the Campbell River and Daybreak Rotary clubs raised $10,000 during their annual March for Children fundraiser. This donation from our two Campbell River clubs helped to support the purchase of dental equipment for our Campbell River Hospital Operating Room.  The equipment consists of a self-contained portable system from drills to suction that is used for Dental Restoration on both adults and children.With two full days each month dedicated to dental restoration and filings to meet the oral needs of children. Dentistry using general anesthesia is most often used for children with severe anxiety that have an inability to cooperate due to their age, compromised health, special needs or extensive dental needs.Rotary is a volunteer organization of 1.2 million business and professional leaders united worldwide to provide humanitarian service and help build goodwill and peace.  About 32,000 Rotary clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas conduct projects to address today's challenges - including illiteracy, disease, hunger, poverty, lack of clean water and environmental concerns - while encouraging high ethical standards in all vocations. Rotary Club of Campbell RiverRotary club of Campbell River Daybreak
