Campbell River Hospital Foundation welcomes new Chairman

The Campbell River Hospital Foundation announces a new leader at the helm of its board after their Annual General Meeting in September.Kent Moeller, owner of Moeller and Company Chartered Accountants will become the community face of the board, engaging the community through various Foundation endeavours including a capital campaign in support of the new Campbell River Hospital."We have a very strong board...and they're very committed to doing the best for our community and region in the healthcare industry," said Stacey Marsh, the foundation's executive director.Moeller served as Treasurer on the Hospital Foundation board from 2006 to 2008 and rejoined the board in 2011. "He has a wealth of experience in championing Campbell River causes," Marsh said. "Having a connection to the community is important; Kent is well respected and liked amongst his peers and we're fortunate that he chooses to give of his time to support quality health care.""It is our job at the Foundation to raise funds so that staff at the Campbell River Hospital have what they need to ensure that each and every patient receives the best care possible," states Moeller.  "It is our community of donors and their outstanding, continual support that make this happen.  We have some exciting times in health care for our community in the next several years and I'm happy to be a part of it."
