For 14 years the CR Italian Cultural Society has been hosting an annual family picnic, show casing outstanding home made Italian sausages & spaghetti (they used 126 liters of sauce, that’s 504 cups!) at Miracle Beach. This year 600 people enjoyed the scrumptious food, perfect weather & amazing atmosphere. $1,500.00 was raised through a raffle and given to the Campbell River Hospital Foundation. Over the years, the Society has given a total of $10, 463.00 raised at this well-attended annual event. The date for next years’ picnic is July 25, 2010.
