The Campbell River Hospital Foundation is pleased and proud to present the 4th Annual Enchanted Forest.  We have new and exciting partnerships to unveil this year to help support this annual event, including Pioneer Home Hardware Building Centre, the Campbell River Courier Islander , 97.3 The Eagle radio station and Willow Hollow Christmas Tree Farm.

This year the proceeds from auctioning off the wonderfully decorated and gift-bearing Christmas trees will go towards the purchase of a Fetal Monitor for the Maternity Department.  Did you know that more than 400 babies are born in the Campbell River Hospital each year and that this includes all first time babies from the North Island? Fetal heart monitoring allows the health care provider to monitor the baby's heartbeat in the uterus, including during labor.  The cost of this vital piece of equipment is $50,000.

 The auction will take place on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 beginning at 6:30pm and this year, Santa has promised to visit sometime during the evening.  We invite parents and grandparents to bring their little ones and a camera to take free holiday pictures, and join us for the exciting tree auction night.
