ICU Bed (Intensive Care) - $56,000

ICU beds are very special in that they are able to provide specialized care to our critically ill patients.

These beds can provide continual rotation to help decrease the chance of a patient getting pneumonia or pulmonary complications while bed ridden.  They may also be converted into what is called a cardiac chair so that patients can still sit up, this progressive mobilization helps the patient be able to start moving in bed ((sitting in a chair position)) before they are physically able to stand which can decrease their length of stay in hospital and increase mobilization.

In addition to helping our patients, theses ICU beds are designed to help the nurse care safely for their patients and therefore decrease the chance of a nurse being hurt while giving care.

Fetal Monitor (Maternity) - $50,000

Fetal heart monitoring lets the health care provider monitor the baby's heartbeat in the uterus, including during labor. The procedure can be done with monitors outside the body (external monitoring) or in the uterus (internal monitoring). 

This allows your health care provider to check if your baby's pattern is one seen in healthy babies, and how well the baby is tolerating the contractions.  The Fetal Monitor also monitors moms' vital signs and has the capability to monitor both single and twin pregnancies.

Hi-Lo Stretcher (Operating Room) - $20,000 (2 stretchers)

Hi Lo stretchers safer for patients and staff.  Staff are able to raise the stretcher to a height that is safe for them to do patient care without causing back and shoulder injuries. These stretchers lower to a height that allows for safe patient ambulation and helps alleviate patient falls.

Delivery Room Cart (Maternity) - $2500

It is a specific table that is used to set up the supplies and equipment needed during a delivery of a baby. It is on wheels so can be moved around the room to where it is needed at the time.
