 Ventilator for the Respiratory Therapy Services Department - $50,000

We all rely on our respiratory system to bring us the oxygen our body needs and to eliminate waste gases like carbon dioxide.  A Ventilator provides life support by mechanically assisting patients that are unable to breathe on their own or who need assistance to breathe while recovering from various medical conditions.

Operating Room Bed - $50,000

Each year more than 3300 surgeries are performed at the Campbell River Hospital.  Replacing the existing beds, with new, superior beds will provide enhanced safety for both patients and staff.

Warming Cabinet & Sterilizer Washer for the OR, Day Surgery & Endoscopy - $85,000

Studies show that a warm blanket helps to provide a sense of comfort and calmness.  The warming cabinet is a tool that assists the Recovery Room nurses in comforting their patients. 

Speech/Language Pathology Equipment - $15,000

This equipment will assist our Speech-language pathologists and audiologists to help people make their lives richer, more productive and enjoyable through improved communication skills.
